New Life Now... What's Next?

Your acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is the most important decision you will ever make. It is the beginning of a new life of positive change, and the start of an exciting lifelong journey of faith. Here are some important things you must do in order to grow spiritually and to achieve a life of purpose, fulfillment and happiness.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. - John 3:16

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 6:23

 1. Connect with God

Prayer is your link to God. Wherever you are, you can speak to God and He will hear you. Just as friendship develops through time together and communication, prayer is the way that you grow in your relationship with God.

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing... - 1 Thess. 5:16-17

Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. - James 4:82.

 2. Connect with God's Word

Take time to read the Bible daily, and you will grow spiritually. Within its pages you will find everything you need to guide you and to help to make right choices and decisions in life. Begin your reading in the books of the New Testament; Matthew and John. There are many great modern versions of the Bible in the New Life Worship Center Bookstore located in the church lobby.

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path. - Psalm 119:105

 3. Connect with God's Family

It is important to get connected with other Christians in your church. The Bible teaches that in order to be spiritually healthy, we need to form positive and uplifting relationships with other Christians. Make a special effort to make friends at church. Come a little early and stay a little late. Also, there are small groups (Life Groups) that meet together here at New Life Worship Center. Life Groups meet at homes in nearby communities to help us all become better friends, and to help us grow in faith. More information about Life Groups is at the Welcome Center in the church lobby.

They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. - Acts 2:42
